Dash of Self Reflection
Untitled 2.jpg

Every day is a new beginning, a new moment and a new you so lets begin by raising a toast to our existence and being grateful for who we are and all that we have. I’m not going to ask for too much but do stop and have a look at these questions and see what pops up in your mind.

- Does my daily routine fetch me happiness?

- Am I content with myself ?

- Do I look after myself – emotionally & physically ?

- Am I aware of where am I headed and my purpose of life ?

Well, if you answered  ‘No’ to most of them I’m going to ask you to do this activity on a daily basis for 2 weeks and see the difference it brings about. Take a few minutes a day which are purely for yourself- it could be an early morning walk, a little timeout from work over a cup of coffee or even a little bit of 'me-time' before its bed time. Clear your head of any unnecessary thoughts as they shouldn’t be allowed free rental mind-space. Then think where are you headed, when was the last time you took time for yourself or did an activity you’ve been really wanting to take up. What are the factors that are causing spokes in your wheel and keeping you from being content. Give yourself time to consolidate your thoughts and make baby changes towards emotional & physical awareness as it’ll add up to a big positive change.

Do remember, life is a reflection of who we are and what we make of ourselves is totally in our control. Just a dash of self reflection a day will help clear the tarnished mirror, declutter the mind and take you a long way. Do more of what makes you happy !
